Stegner impressed in Kansas City with his ability to drive in runs. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound backstop was a consistent run producer for his Arkansas Prospects team, which made a run to the Final Four of the Midwest Premier Super 15. We also saw Stegner at the Central Super Sophomore Games at Homefield, where he posted a max exit velocity of 102.8 mph during the showcase portion, ranking third at the event.
Stegner uses his size well at the plate, creating leverage with simple, consistent movements that allow him to deliver the barrel accurately. He’s poised for a strong sophomore campaign and is taking the next steps toward becoming an impact middle-of-the-order bat.
