2024 Future Games: Team Massachusetts - Top Performers

The 13th annual Future Games took place on July 24-28 at LakePoint in Emerson, Georgia. Top uncommitted prospects in the classes of 2026 and 2027 participated in one of the most popular events each year.
There were 36 teams, including Team Massachusetts, with players representing 43 states plus Canadian prospects. Each team played three games the final three days of the event after all position players are put through a showcase workout on Wednesday, the first day of the Future Games.
More than 300 colleges from across the country were looking on as approximately 500 players participated in this year’s event. This year, more than 450 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance.

Best Pitching Performance
Chase Edgar RHP / SS / Austin Prep, NH / 2026Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 3
Report: In game two, the righty threw two clean innings. Showed the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes. Fastball sat 86-88 with spin pitch at 74-75 and the changeup at 73-75. |
James Rabuse OF / RHP / Wahconah, MA / 2026Report: In game one, the righty shoved during his two innings, throwing two clean frames. Dropped his slider in for strikes at will, while throwing an upper-80s fastball with life. |
Best In Game Hitting Performance

Report: Had 3 hits and a walk in game one while stealing three bases and scoring 3 runs. Also went 1-3 in game three. A plus plus runner, who plays the game the right way. Simple bat path with life. |
Best Workout Day Hitter
Morrie Fried 3B / 1B / Pittsfield, MA / 2026Report: Big right-handed hitting corner infielder. Plus thunder with the bat, serious juice. |
Best In Game Defender
Tucker Cali 3B / 1B / Somerville High, MA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 2
Report: Big right-handed hitting corner infielder. Made all the plays in all the games and made them look routine. Runs, throws and shows above average skill set with the bat. |
Best Workout Day Defender
Nolan Rappoli SS / 2B / Xaverian Brothers, MA / 2026Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 3
Report: Plus glove, short throwing path with a plus feel for defending. The bat has life, and he shows a good feel for the game. |
Best Base Runner
