MONDAY, MARCH 24TH

+ RHP Ian Hillary (Thompson, 2025) was dominant in his start on Monday afternoon for the Thompson Warriors as they made the trip up to Murfreesboro. Hillary, an Alabama State recruit is a long, lean right-hander who displays a smooth and easy operation down the mound. The fastball worked at 86-89 mph throughout the majority of his outing that featured some late life and worked to both sides of the zone, paired with a slurve-shaped breaking that played at 72-74 mph and was used to generate weak contact and keep opposing hitters off-balance. Hillary would earn the win in a complete-game effort with a final line of 7 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 3 BB and 7 K’s.
