Currently ranked No. 24 in the state, Angle is fresh off a strong summer tournament circuit and a standout showing at the Wisconsin State Games. Displaying a physical 6-foot, 195-pound frame with some strength present throughout, he offers significant offensive upside with the potential to develop into a middle-of-the-order bat for the Panthers. Noah Melby RHP / Brookfield East, WI / 2026Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 9
![]() RHP Noah Melby (Brookfield East) is a high-upside arm who should provide significant value to the Huskies’ pitching staff. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-5, 224 pounds, the projectable right-hander possesses a durable, workhorse frame with plenty of room to refine his arsenal. Currently ranked No. 27 in the state, Melby comes off a strong spring campaign, posting a 1.51 ERA over 38 innings and earning First Team All-Conference honors. The physical right-hander features an intriguing four-pitch mix with the potential to challenge hitters consistently. From 7/31/25: “Melby stands in as a long-levered, durable 6-foot-5, 224-pound frame. The recent NIU recruit worked from fluid, high-kick, drop and drive motion, followed by a clean, loose, full-circle arm action from the ¾ slot. Dealing with a three-pitch mix, the fastball was sitting 85-87 mph, firm with late ride, 2200 rpm, and 22.7 max IVB. The curveball was 74-78 mph, with 11-6 shape, slight depth, with 2500 rpm, then the changeup was sitting 81-82 mph with slight arm-side fade. Tyson Grulkowski RHP / Muskego, WI / 2026The Bulls added a premier talent to their pitching staff in RHP Tyson Grulkowski (Muskego), widely regarded as one of the top right-handed prep arms in the nation. The All-American Game alum is currently ranked No. 2 in the state and No. 51 nationally and is set to participate in our Super 60 event this February. Grulkowski emerged as a major riser throughout the spring and summer circuit, earning First Team All-State honors while establishing himself as one of the more projectable arms at the next level. The physically imposing 6-foot-5, 226-pound pitcher still has room to fill out, and it will be interesting to see how he develops as he continues to add strength to his frame. The right-hander shows an advanced feel for spin across his four-pitch arsenal, boasting the highest average spin rate in the state on his slider. He features a lively fastball/sinker combination that sits in the upper-80s to low-90s (topping 91 mph in-event) with significant running action. He complements that with a high-spin curveball spinning 2,800-2,900+ rpm and a mid-80s changeup that tunnels effectively off his fastball and sinker. From 5/22/25: “Recent South Florida commit, one of the top right-handers in the state, currently ranked No. 9 in the state’s junior class. Listed at 6-foot-5, 227-pound long levered right-hander exhibited a consistent, repeatable, and low effort arm action out of a lower ¾ slot while throwing five shutout innings with nine strikeouts against Oconomowoc on May 22. Fastball sat 87-89 MPH, topping 91 MPH with life, while also mixing in a sinker. Showed advanced feel for a sharp two-plane slider at 75-78 MPH , consistently throwing it for a first pitch strike, as well as a swing-and-miss pitch later in counts.” |
