Prep Baseball Oklahoma Staff

We are off to an explosive start in the Sooner State. As the season progresses, we will be putting out our weekly scout blog providing added color to the prospects that caught our attention.  We go beyond the limited number of characters that twitter allows to give more in-depth analysis on the prospects.  Continue to follow along through our social channels this spring as we continue to provide unparralled coverage of all things Oklahoma High School baseball.

Edmond Memorial at Piedmont

Cole Dunlap RHP / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2027

Dunlap overpowered Piedmont throughout his 5 Innings on Opening Day. Primarily working with a FB/Cut combo, he attacked the zone relentlessly. Over those 5 IP, he threw just 69 pitches as part of a sparkling line that included 10 punchouts and 0 hits. The TCU commit looked the part with the fastball up to 95 but comfortably sitting in the low 90s for the entire outing. The Edmond Memorial ace had the look of a work horse that could beat anyone in the state each time out.
