Filling Out The Rest Of The Top 10

Andrew Oppenheimer OF / LHP / Beavercreek High School, OH / 2028

Report: Two-way from Beavercreek with tremendous feel to pitch. The LHP sits in the mid 8s with multiple above average breaking balls, and has the ability to move the baseball around the zone. Stand out from Junior Future Games last summer.

Sammy Vovak RHP / 3B / St. Xavier, OH / 2028

Report: 6-foot-2 projectable frame. Dominated last summer with a mid to upper 80s fastball paired with a CB/CH secondary arsenal.

Jackson Vondersaar C / RHP / Olentangy Berlin, OH / 2028

Report: Versatile athlete with a lot of projection offensively. Has consistently been one of the top performers on the 2028 summer circuit and showed a jump in physicality this winter.

Sutton Mullins 1B / RHP / Olentangy, OH / 2028

Report: A physical specimen with lighttower power potential. Big, strong athlete who has taken steps forward in the development of his skill set. A standout hitter on the summer circuit a summer ago, the power plays to all fields.

Knox Brenning C / RHP / Olentangy Liberty, OH / 2028

Report: Switch hitting catchers with power don’t grow on trees, the skill set for Knox is advanced and the offensive potential at a premium position is worth pointing out. Competitive on the mound as well, sits in the mid 8s with an athletic delivery and good feel for the zone.

Winter Showcase Standouts

Seth Maybury 1B / RHP / ARCH BISHOP MOELLER HIGH SCHOOL, OH / 2028

Report: Talented two-way from Moeller who showed well at Southern Ohio Preseason All-State. Projects highly on the mound and was consistent last summer at the plate driving gaps and producing runs against strong competition. On the mound he sat 83-84 T84.3 with a smooth delivery and loose arm action.

Mason Groninger RHP / 3B / Hoover High School, OH / 2028

Report: A standout at NMC scout day with an eye-opening bullpen. Clearly one of the stronger arms in the class and potential to shoot up the rankings as the delivery continues to clean up. A name to keep an eye on moving forward. Sat 85-87 T87.5.

Cyrus Worley 3B / OF / Kenton Ridge High School, OH / 2028

Report: Left-handed power hitting third baseman, run producer and middle of the lineup type bat. Moves well in tight spaces at third base. Projectable hitter. Was up to 96 in bp at Central Ohio Preseason All-State. Had a strong pre-season with a talented Kenton Ridge team.
